Join the Parent Engagement Committee.
The Parent Engagement Committee at Marian University serves as an advocate and resource for the parents and family members of current students. Members of the committee are available to answer your questions, listen to your ideas, and hear your suggestions.
Among the committee's responsibilities are helping to plan an annual Family Weekend, serving as volunteers for athletic, arts, and other events, and overseeing hospitality arrangements for parents attending family functions and campus events.
In addition, members of the committee serve as parent hosts during annual Move-In Days when new students arrive on campus. They help host student receptions, award ceremonies, and other events to which parents and families are invited. They volunteer as members of parent panels during student orientation and at recruiting events, providing feedback and insight for other parents who are exploring if Marian University is the right choice for their students.
Family Weekend 2017
Each fall, the university hosts Family Weekend, which is a great event for parents, siblings, grandparents, and others to make wonderful college memories with their student.
