Graduation Week Events

Please review this information about the Commencement Ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students (i.e., all students except Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine or MU-COM students) to be held Saturday, May 6, 2017

NOTE: Information about the MU-COM ceremony on Sunday, May 7 will added soon.

Wednesday, May 3

4 p.m.

Graduation Rehearsal: Physical Education Center. All students are asked to attend. Gowns are not required. See the FAQ page if you are unable to attend the rehearsal.

5-8 p.m.

Graduates Luau: Allison Mansion
Free to graduates.

Friday, May 5

5 p.m.

Baccalaureate Mass: Bishop Chartrand Chapel in Marian Hall
All are welcome!

Saturday, May 6 (Graduation Day)

9 a.m.

Assemble for the Processional: Physical Education Center Gymnasium
Students and faculty only.

9:20 a.m.

Procession begins: Line-up and march to commencement site.

10 a.m.

Commencement Ceremony
St. Vincent Field

To allow time for all guest to find seats without disrupting the ceremony, no one will not be admitted to the Physical Education Center after 9:45 a.m. if the ceremony must be moved indoors due to severe weather.
