Wendy in Salzburg July 2014

Welcome to the Department of Languages and Cultures at Marian University where students learn the cross-cultural skills to become successful professionals in a global marketplace. Forbes Magazine points out that, no matter what the student’s chosen profession, it is the ability to communicate in a second or third language that will ultimately give college graduates a competitive edge on the job market.

Get credit towards your language courses, improve your fluency and gain international experience studying or interning abroad!  A major or minor in a language is flexible and will make your application stand out above the rest.
